Counselor Application

Do you love 4-H camp, but are too old to be a camper? Sign up to be a camp counselor!
This is a great opportunity to gain leadership skills and a great addition to you resume and college applications. Plus, you get to have an amazing time at camp! Never been a counselor or to camp before? That’s okay! We have a hybrid counselor training that our counselors will participate in that will get you ready to be a camp counselor.

Counselor Training

As a counselor, you will have to complete an asynchronous/self-paced online training as well as attend the required in-person training. The in-person training is Thursday, May 30th from 5pm to 7pm in Adams-Friendship at the Extension Office (569 N Cedar St, Adams WI, 53910). Please mark this on your calendar as this training is required for all counselors. More information and exact meeting location will be sent to all counselors closer to the training. If completing these trainings is a barrier to participating as camp counselor, please reach out to the extension office to figure out if being a counselor will work for you!

Camp Orientation

We are hosting a camper orientation on June 2 from 7-8PM on Zoom. This is a new meeting for campers to get to know more about the schedule, meet some of the people they will see at camp, and a chance to ask any questions about camp. This is a great opportunity for counselors to start leading as a positive role model to set the stage for the time at camp!
