Cooking Away with 4-H Challenge

Inspired by all the ways families have been challenging themselves to learn new skills during COVID-19, Green Lake County 4-H will be hosting a remote cooking challenge. Each week, participants will be given food related challenges – create or adapt a recipe featuring focus ingredients, learn/practice new skills in the kitchen and learn more about food!

A cookbook will be created based on the recipes submitted and participants will receive 4-H cooking items! Form a team with household family 4-H members or participate as an individual. All ages and experience levels are welcome – must be a Green Lake County 4-H member!

Each week brings a new set of challenges! Creating original recipes based on focus ingredients and skills, testing your culinary and food based knowledge are all part of the fun!

The challenge runs for 4 weeks and we hope you can participate each week:
  • Week 1: November 6-14
  • Week 2: November 13-21
  • Week 3: November 20-28
  • Week 4: November 27- December 5

Check out this video to learn more about the challenge!
