Green Lake County 4-H Members,
The Green Lake County 4-H Leaders’ Association will be providing scholarship funds to help support 4-H members who are interested in attending:
- Space Camp, Huntsville, AL – Grades 6-8
- Pathways Conference, Madison – Grades 7-10
- American Spirit East, East Coast – Grades 8-10
- Citizenship Washington Focus, Washington D.C. – Grades 10-12
- National 4-H Conference, Washington D.C. – Grades 10-12
- National 4-H Congress, Atlanta, GA- Grades 10-12
Young people may participate in these experiences without receiving a scholarship from the Green Lake County 4-H Leaders’ Association.
In addition, we will also be selecting the recipients of the Wisconsin 4-H Key Award and the Green Lake County 4-H Leaders’ Association academic scholarships.
In this document you will find a more detailed description of these educational travel opportunities and awards along with a scholarship application and reference form. Note: Completing a Green Lake County 4-H Record Book is not a requirement to apply for these scholarship opportunities, but strongly encouraged.
Please pay close attention to Wisconsin 4-H Application deadlines for these experiences as some are in November and December! Application to participate in most of these travel experiences are available through 4HOnline or stated on Wisconsin 4-H website. Applications and reference forms are due to the Green Lake County Extension office, or postmarked, by October 24, 2022. All applicants will be asked to participate in a short interview. Interviews are tentatively scheduled for either November 14 or November 17 in the evening with location to be decided.
